Manual Cart Recovery Messages

Learn how to send the abandoned cart recovery messages manually over WhatsApp for your Shopify store
WhatsApp Automation allows you to send out customized messages manually to the customer and help recovering the abandoned cart for the store.
You can view the setting to send the manual message for the abandoned cart recovery in your checkouts tab->Manual message->Send message as displayed below:
When clicked on "Send message" you will be directed to the default message template available and you may consider using that template or also consider creating new Message template as per your requirement.
How to Create New Message Template for Manual Message?
To create a new message template of your choice to send the abandoned cart recovery messages manually over WhatsApp for your Shopify store please navigate to Checkouts tab->Manual message->Send message->Create new template

Now select the short codes from the following that you wish to display in your message:
  1. 1.
    {{name}}: This short code will display customer's name in the message.
  2. 2.
    {{first_name}}: This short code will Display customer's first name in the message.
  3. 3.
    {{last_name}}: This short code will display customer's last name in the message.
  4. 4.
    {{total_amount}}: This short code will display checkout's total amount in the message.
  5. 5.
    {{currency_code}}: This short code will display checkouts currency code in the message.
  6. 6.
    {{recovery_url}}: This short code will display checkout recovery URL in the message.
Once you have entered the customized message that you wish to send to the client along with the required short codes mentioned above then you will be able to view the preview of the message that the customer would receive on the right side under Preview.
Then click on Save to save the created template.

Now navigate to checkout tab and click on send button next to the created template to send the message to the customer.

How to Delete and Edit the created new Message template?
To Edit the created message template please navigate to Checkout tab->Click on the more button next to the Message template you wish to edit. And then click on edit.
